Serious business!
This gal wanted to learn to bowhunt for deer, flyfish and then learn to hunt waterfowl!! Talk about the 3 most powerful addictions! |
|
A family affair
Mom and daughter "loosing" a few arrows. |
|
The winter class.
Sounds funny, but the winter classes are never cancelled! A gymnasium makes a nice environment for shooting. Kids range from 6 to 14. |
|
Another look...
Notice how each kid appears to be behaving?? It's ALWAYS that way for this class! Makes it awful easy on an instructor! |
|
Is she having fun?
The first time in a treestand for this gal and have you noticed her full body safety harness?? That smile says it all!

|
Total concentration
Excellent form!! Holding that anchor till the arrow hits the mark! Women are MUCH easier to teach. |

Sneaking in a few rounds
I enjoy shooting with each class. It eases the minds of the students, whether it be adults or kids, to be shooting alongside an experienced archer. We kind of become a "brotherhood" of sorts.
In our own separate lives, it's only a trifle of time spent together shooting bows. Amazingly that trifle creates a memory lasting a lifetime! And it NEVER fails! |
